Friday, January 21, 2011A lot of people have asked where I do my work, where my "studio" is. I wouldn't call this much of a studio, rather a work room.
Here are a few pictures for you.
This is my work desk but believe me, it's never this clean when i'm in my creative mode. I usually have bits of work laying around, paint containers open, paper towels for wiping, findings scattered on top of my desk, haha. Well, you know how it is when you are creating!
In the boxes at the top is where I keep my clay. The large shoe design box is where I keep my full blocks and half blocks. I keep my scrap clay and near end blocks in the top bucket box. Easy for me to see what I have.
I have just a few ribbon spools to begin my bow making. I didn't invest in a lot of ribbon just in case I find this expansion is not for me. Even if I do not continue to make bows, I will still create bow centers for all of you lovely Crafters who enjoy making hair bows!
This is my cases where I keep my beading, findings, loose chain and etc.
I keep them organized so I can see if I need to restock soon. I keep a list of supplies I need to pick up when I make my run to the craft stores. I have an obsession with notebooks and i'm not sure why.

Thursday, January 20, 2011So, for today and the rest of the weekend I am going to be working a LOT. I have curated a list of items and ideas that I want to create. I am going to be making a lot of mini zipper friends! If you create pouches, cosmetic bags, little totes, etc. These will be perfect for the zippers. They will measure about 1/2" and come complete with a mini ball key chain. These will be unique to your pouches and will raise the value of your creations!

Tuesday, January 18, 2011For the past few weeks I have been extremely busy. I love the new items that I have created and enjoyed working with many wonderful customers on custom orders.
I have decided to expand my work and create bows, however, I do not know if I will keep this trend up. I enjoy making them but I enjoy creating fun and whimsical pieces for children, tweens and teens all around the world.
Here is a few photos of my latest work.
This is an adorable black and pink lollipop necklaces created for the lover at heart. I LOVE sweets.. but my thighs don't! I guess I get my sweet cravings filled by creating look-a-like jewelry! (Well, I still eat a cookie now and then ^_~
I really enjoy making hair bow centers and I have made some in the past for various customers. I have just recently started putting them on hair bows. As I mentioned before, i'm not sure if I will continue this or if I will just sell the hair bow centers alone.
I'd really like your input on the subject.
Here are a few hair bows I have created:
I have also enjoyed making small hair clips for children also, here are my top favorites I have listed so far
I have added many more items to my store including my line of zipper friends!!
Many more zipper friends, jewelry sets, necklaces and more will be added over the next week.
